Krystyl is a Physician Assistant who graduated with her Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences Physician Assistant from the University of Toledo. She began her practice at The Toledo Hospital as a surgical PA before returning to her home state of Montana. Having grown up in Twin Bridges, she was no stranger to small-town life. After starting at BSMC, she married a local farmer and together they have two boys. She furthered her education in 2022, becoming board certified in Advanced Diabetes Management, and is now certified in Functional Health β expanding BSMCβs ability to address the root causes of chronic conditions through personalized care.

Amber has been a PA since 2005, earning her education from Lock Haven Pennsylvania (now Commonwealth University). She has 7 years of experience in Internal Medicine, 7 years in Endocrinology, and over 6 years in Rural Health Family Medicine. She loves taking the time to listen to her patients and supporting them in the way they choose to approach their healthcare. She is married to her husband of 25 years and together they have three adult children. When she is home in Wisconsin, she enjoys gardening, cooking, and crafting.

Christopher Heath Horton, MSN, FNP, ENP, CEN

Heathβs journey in medicine began in EMS in Arkansas, where he served as an EMT/Paramedic for 14 years before transitioning to nursing. He earned his LPN, then RN, and thrived in ER/ICU and Rapid Response settings before pursuing his MSN in Family Practice. His passion for emergency care led him to complete an ER residency, certifying him as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner. Whether addressing chronic conditions or acute emergencies, Heath brings compassion, expertise, and a welcoming demeanor to every patient encounter. Outside of work, he enjoys camping, hiking, hunting, and fishing.

Dr. Daniel Davis, MD, FACEP
Medical Director Β· Emergency Medicine
Dr. Davis is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians (FACEP) with extensive experience in emergency medicine. He has spent a majority of his career in California before working with Logan Health along the Hi-Line, including serving as Medical Director in Chester. His passion is bringing cutting-edge science and new approaches to clinical care in rural areas. His initial impression of Big Sandy: βThe culture here is ideal to accomplishing the goal of clinical excellence.β
